Information Systems Specialist
We have an opening for an Information Systems Specialist at Aileron. This is a full-time position.
The Information Systems Specialist is responsible for IT operational support and administration of the open source Drupal platform used in the operations of Aileron. This position provides primary support for campus A/V technologies, desk side support, and user support. This role provides secondary support for the effective operation of all servers, clients, infrastructure, applications, and peripherals at Aileron and supports deployment of IT technologies used at Aileron.
What does the position entail?
Provide administration, support, and operational responsibility for Drupal platforms deployed at Aileron, including writing basic queries and running reports using SQL queries. Provide back-up support for I.T Infrastructure, Servers (Windows and Linux), applications on hosted servers (Exchange, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, etc.), PC and applications, Data backup/restoration, Printers, email, phones (Cisco Unified Communications Manager), PC Sweeps, A/V, and wireless technologies.Primary responsibility for campus Audio/Visual and supporting technologies, including daily operations, preventative maintenance of A/V equipment, and client support.
Responsible for documenting and producing Standard Operating Procedures for all key technology processes, producing and publishing policy documents, and developing a process for documenting and tracking user support incidents, recommending procedures for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, MIS, or related Technical Field and two (2) years of experience in Information Technology is required. Relevant IT industry certifications are preferred.2 year’s experience with open source Drupal platform administration and support is required.
Solid technical experience in Information Technology in supporting/administration of Drupal platforms, Windows 2008, Windows 2012, Windows 8, Windows XP, Active Directory; Red Hat, VMWare; MS Office/Outlook; Exchange; SharePoint 2013 and older versions such as MOSS ;Cisco VOIP, Cisco VPN client; Symantec Backup Exec; EqualLogic SAN
Basic development/programming experience in Java JSP & JSTL is preferred but not required. Basic experience configuration of Google Search Appliance is preferred. Experience with Learning Management Systems is preferred. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

We have an opening for a Learning & Development Program Manager at Aileron. This is a full-time position.
The Learning & Development Program Manager is responsible for continually validating or improving Aileron’s designated Professional Management disciplines, determining competencies, terminology, and approaches needed for clients to develop in Professional Management. Responsibilities include identifying and prioritizing client development needs, managing the design, development and sourcing of practical programs and tools, managing the development & sourcing of new programs, managing the life cycle of existing programs, and monitoring the performance of all designated programs; assuring that clients effectively learn new or improve existing skills.
What does the position entail?
Professional Management Discipline Development – Understand, validate and challenge the skills and competencies needed for clients to develop in Aileron’s Professional Management framework. Facilitate the continual improvement of the competencies, terminology and approaches.
Program Management – Prioritize client development needs and program development projects, manage the design, development, and sourcing of new programs and tools and the continual improvement of existing programs and tools. Conduct client, contributor, small business and industry trend research to ensure services align with Aileron’s Professional Management System.
Service Performance – Ensure program objectives, client satisfaction, revenue, and utilization goals are met. Conduct program performance reviews including analysis of performance feedback, market research with clients, non-clients, and internal delivery team members to identify potential improvements. Monitor facilitator performance to ensure facilitator satisfaction goals are met.
Service Development - Develop new or modify existing programs and resources. Define the development needs and objectives, determine when to build or buy the program, delivery method and instructional approach, manage the piloting and implementation of the program to Aileron’s curriculum.Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree is required; Learning & Development or Instructional Design focus. Advanced Degree is preferred; minimum of 5 years’ experience in learning and development, instructional design, eLearning design or other related field; demonstrated success defining and launching excellent learning products or services.Must have a working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation software (MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint). Experience with learning management and content management systems is a plus.
